Different types of crusher’s track plate quality in wear resistance, impact resistance and other performance requirements are different, the following are some common crusher track plate quality differences:
Jaw crusher
High manganese steel: The impact load of the jaw crusher is large, and the track plate needs to withstand frequent strong impact and friction. When the high manganese steel is impacted, the surface will be quickly processed and hardened to form a high hardness hardened layer, which greatly improves the wear resistance, can effectively resist the impact and wear of the material, and extend the service life of the track plate.
Ultra-high manganese steel: further optimized on the basis of high manganese steel, higher carbon and manganese content, more reasonable alloying element ratio, and better comprehensive performance. With higher strength, toughness and wear resistance, can withstand the impact and wear under worse working conditions, suitable for dealing with high hardness, strong abrasive materials, such as quartz stone, granite and other jaw crusher.
Cone crusher
Medium carbon alloy steel: In the crushing process of cone crusher, the track plate should not only bear a certain impact load, but also maintain good dimensional stability and wear resistance. Medium carbon alloy steel by adding chromium, molybdenum, vanadium and other alloying elements, after appropriate heat treatment, can obtain good comprehensive mechanical properties, strength, toughness and wear resistance can meet the working requirements of cone crusher track plate.
Bainite steel: Bainite steel has high strength, high toughness and good wear resistance, the bainite phase in the microstructure makes it under complex stress, can effectively disperse the stress concentration, reduce the possibility of crack generation and expansion, suitable for cone crusher in high load, long running conditions of the track plate needs, especially in the processing of medium hardness and above the material performance.
Impact crusher
High strength wear-resistant steel: the impact crusher can break materials by impact, and the track plate will be subjected to greater impact and friction in operation. High strength wear-resistant steel has high strength and hardness, can withstand the impact at the same time, resist the wear of the material, to ensure that the track plate in the frequent impact and friction environment to maintain good integrity and performance stability.
Composite material: In order to further improve the performance of the track plate, some impact crusher uses composite material track plate. Such as surfacing on the surface of the track plate with a high hardness, high wear resistance of the alloy material, or the use of multi-layer composite material structure, so that the track plate has good impact resistance, but also has excellent surface wear resistance, can effectively cope with the complex working conditions of the impact crusher.
Hammer crusher
High chromium cast iron: The track plate of the hammer crusher needs to withstand the reaction force generated by the hammer head impacting the material and the erosion and wear of the material. High chromium cast iron has high hardness, high wear resistance and good corrosion resistance, its internal chromium carbide phase can effectively resist the wear of materials, in the treatment of brittle, abrasive materials, high chromium cast iron material track plate can maintain good wear resistance, extend the service life.
Wear-resistant cast steel: wear-resistant cast steel has high strength and toughness, can withstand the greater impact force when the hammer crusher is working, and has a certain wear resistance. Through reasonable adjustment of alloying element content and heat treatment process, wear-resistant cast steel track plate can improve its wear resistance on the basis of ensuring strength and toughness, and is suitable for treating materials with different hardness and properties.
