The sand cleaned by the sand washing machine has a clean surface, good texture, and can also reduce dust and noise pollution in the production process. However, in the sand washing process, fine sand and face sand will be lost with the flow of water, according to statistics, a production line is about to lose 5%-25% of the content, which seriously affects the sand production output. So how to reduce the amount of sand loss? This article shares with you 4 methods of fine sand recycling.

1. The sedimentation tank is equipped with a three-layer sedimentation device, so that after the sand washing wastewater flows into the sedimentation tank, it will be precipitated layer by layer for a period of time. Due to the heavy specific gravity of sand and mud, the sand and mud can be separated after a long time of precipitation. Its disadvantage is that it needs a long time to settle, it needs to occupy a large area of sedimentation tank, and it also needs to manually dig mud and sand in the later stage, which consumes a lot of labor costs and time costs.

2. Equipped with dewatering screen equipment to discharge the sand washing wastewater to the screen surface of the dewatering screen, so that the lost sand can be recovered. Its disadvantage is that it can only recover raw materials containing little or no mud, if it contains much mud, it can not recover, because the recovery is still a mud and sand mixture.

3. The sand washing wastewater is discharged to the lower water tank of the fine sand collector by the fine sand recovery machine. The mixed mud and sand water is driven to the cyclone separator by the slurry pump, and then discharged to the screen surface. The fine sand is discharged with the screen surface, and the mud and water return to the lower water tank to form a cycle from which the sand in the wastewater is extracted.
Two points should be noted in the use of the fine sand recovery machine:
(1) Do not put the material when starting, after a few laps of idling, then put the material, which can reduce the burden of the equipment.
(2) The total power must be considered when configuring the transformer, and some voltages can be appropriately configured to avoid low-voltage operation of the equipment and ensure the normal operation of the equipment.

4. Add chemical agents to drain the lost sand water into the sink, chemical agents can be added to make the mud and sand quickly condense into flocculent, and realize the rapid separation of sand and water. However, this method is mainly applied to the recovery and utilization of fine coal in the coal slime industry, which has certain limitations when used in the sand and stone field, and can not be popularized for the time being.
